Why me
Most people teaching this have never run a P&L.
The people demoing AI prompts to professionals right now are mostly influencers. They've never built a team, made a hiring call, or picked a vendor and lived with the result. I did that for 30 years. I was a CPA. I worked at GE Capital. I built the business case that put a corporate performance management platform in front of our CFO, then spent years implementing systems like it. I know which decisions AI actually helps with, because I used to make them.
And I build the things I talk about. Five-Minute Manager is a real tool I made with AI to write performance reviews. I never wrote a line of its code by hand. It took about 35 hours to a working version.
